Frequently Asked Questions

Important details regarding our physical trade terms, inspection, and payment mechanisms.

What are the standard Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)?

For containerized shipments (pulses, specialty grains, bagged meals), our standard minimum is 5x 20ft/40ft FCL (approx. 125–130 MT). For breakbulk and dry bulk ocean vessels, minimum cargo parcels start at 5,000 MT up to Panamax vessels (50,000–65,000 MT).

Which payment instruments does AgriBridge accept?

We primarily operate via confirmed, irrevocable Documentary Letters of Credit (L/C) payable at sight against clean shipping documents, or Cash Against Documents (CAD) through first-class international correspondent banks.

How is cargo quality inspected and verified?

Weight, grade, moisture, and cargo specifications are verified prior to shipment through recognized independent inspection agencies—such as SGS or Intertek—as required by contract terms and destination regulations.

Can AgriBridge provide representative crop samples?

Yes. For containerized pulses, legumes, and specialty grains, courier samples from the active crop year can be dispatched to prospective industrial buyers upon receipt of an approved trade inquiry.
